What the hell am I doing?!
I'm suppose to be studying for a Microbiology test tomorrow, and instead I'm posting up this experimental pic of Doitsu I've been secretly working on (aside from my Illustration project, and doing research for my Painting assignment). XD


So how did I make this?
It all started with a random stock photo I found online of a male model with this pose.
Then, I started to ' paint' over it using my crappy old tablet (it's not very precise, so that's why I used the 'airbrush' instead of hard-edged brushes to do this).
And the photo underneath basically 'fades' away after a great number of layers (I think it was over 20 in this case), so you can just use 'Gaussian Blur' to make it completely 'disappear' and contribute a little bit to the coloring.

Aside from ' painting' over it, I changed some features and added things to make it look more like Germany from APH: skin color and texture (the original was really tanned and had lots of facial stubble), eye color (the original had dark eyes), hair (the original had a buzzed haircut that he's practically bald), an Iron Cross and silver necklace (the original had a gold necklace with a coin as a pendant), and a green sleeveless shirt with slight texture (the original had no shirt).

I won't be able to answer your Comments/Messages for a while due to College 'n stuff (I got over 80 of them now - wouldn't surprise me if I'll get over 100 when I get to answer them XD )...
