APH - Tribute to Our Troops

I finally got this done yesterday, but didn't have time to post it up until now... anyway, here's the Final Version.


With the passing of the 7th anniversary of the start of the current Iraqi War and getting close to a decade in Afghanistan, I just felt like drawing an APH Fan pic as a tribute to our troops participating in both wars.
I only drew the countries who sent over 100,000 troops to fight over the years:

01. United States of America
02. United Kingdom/England
03. Germany
04. France
05. Italy
06. Canada
07. Poland
08. Netherlands/Holland
09. Turkey
10. Australia

[Here the characters in order from left to right:
Australia, Italy (both North and South), Netherlands (I was informed that he now has an official design; I also included his 'ghost' form ), UK/England, Canada, America, Germany, Turkey, France, and Poland]

However, not all of these countries are fighting now or won't be fighting much longer, like Canada (America's really not too happy about that).
England and Australia are thinking about bailing out, if they hadn't done so... and let's not get started with France wanting to be part of NATO again, or Italy almost leaving right after loosing several men to to a roadside bomb...
As for Germany and Netherlands, as far as I heard, they intend to stay alongside with America.

*EDIT: Netherlands is leaving, which leaves America, England, Germany, and I'm not 100% sure about France, Italy, Turkey, and Australia - as well as a few other NATO countries not mentioned here.

But overall, all of the countries involved will eventually withdraw once Afghanistan and Iraq are stable enough to run on their own.

*Random Note: I remember this news documentary about German and American soldiers: Germans are diplomatic and get along quite well with the native people, but they're not aggressive fighters against the terrorists; Americans, on the other hand, are not so great with their people skills but are very effective in getting rid of the terrorists.
The Afghans who were interviewed said that if you can combine the two, they'd have the perfect soldier.


Well, that's all I have to say about this pic...

If you ever see a man or woman in uniform, thank them - they have done so much to keep us safe and to serve their country.
And if you are person in uniform, I salute you for everything you've done.

PS: I plan to make more current event APH Fan Art - like Greece getting his 'Nein Euros' from Germany (he actually got his bail out ), Germany dissing Turkey about joining the EU (Turkey still think he's European when 95% of his land is Asian [maybe his mask represents his 5% European land ]), and America dissing France's invitation to dinner (Obama did this to the French president recently; he also dissed Germany by not attending the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall [especially when he went there while he was running for president, what nerve... then again, maybe his reason for not going was from his previous trip there]).

Other silly ideas in mind are France's 'Confess Your Sins' phone service and Italy's 'Holy Water Dispenser' (I can totally see Italy using a squirt gun labeled 'Holy Water' on Germany - and Germany's not going to be too happy about that 'cause: 1. he's Protestant, and 2. he got wet! ).
I swear the Catholic Church are trying to come up with the wackiest things these days (and I'm not Catholic, so it makes it's funnier).
